Children's Ministry

Our Mission

At Living Waters Independent Baptist Church, our Children’s Ministry exists to partner with parents in “training up a child in the way he should go.” We provide a safe, reverent, and engaging environment where the Word of God is taught clearly from the King James Bible, helping children build a strong foundation for their faith.

Our Classes

Nursery & Nursing Mother’s Room

We provide a clean, quiet nursery and a private room for nursing mothers. For your convenience, both spaces are equipped with a live audio feed of the service, allowing you to care for your little ones without missing the preaching of God’s Word.

Children’s Church (All Ages Above Nursery)

Our Children’s Church provides a specialized environment for children to learn at their level during our main services.

• Biblical Teaching: We focus on grounding the next generation in the Scriptures. Through Bible lessons, traditional hymns, and Scripture memorization, children are taught the fundamental truths of the Word of God.
• Secure & Private: Your child’s safety is our priority. Classes are held in a private, secure area of our facility and are led by our Ministry Coordinator and a team of dedicated, background-checked volunteers.
• Practical Application: We challenge our students not just to hear the Word, but to live it out—encouraging them to walk with the Lord and be a light for Christ in their homes and schools.

Weekly Opportunities

Sunday Morning

• 11:00 AM: Children’s Church (Children are dismissed to their class from the main sanctuary)

Wednesday Night

• 7:00 PM: Kids Bible Club (Bible study and activities running concurrently with the Adult Prayer Meeting)

Special Events

Christ, Advice, and a Slice

A monthly fellowship where Jason provides pizza and a Bible-centered message. This casual Q&A session allows our youth to ask honest questions and receive sound “Christ-centered advice” rooted in the King James Scriptures. It is a vital time for building godly friendships and finding biblical answers to life’s challenges.

Children’s Christmas Program

Each December, our children lead the congregation in celebrating the birth of our Savior through the singing of traditional carols.

Special Children’s Service

Periodically, our children take an active role in the service to learn the importance of serving in the house of God. From assisting with ushering and opening prayer to providing special music, the children participate in the order of service before Jason brings a clear, Gospel-focused message specifically prepared for them.

The safety of your family is our top priority.

• Background Checks: All volunteers undergo a thorough screening and background check.
• Trained Volunteers: Our team is committed to maintaining a safe, supervised, and wholesome environment for every child.

All volunteers must be members of Living Waters Independent Baptist Church and complete a background check.
